Job Title: In-home Sales Consultant

Reporting to: Head of Sales

Direct Reports (if appropriate): N/A

Key Relationships: Installation Team Leaders, Production Managers, Head of Operations

Location: Based – Fyshwick, ACT; Sales region – Canberra and surrounds



Our in-home Sales Consultants work across Canberra and surrounds advising customers on the full range of locally made Watson products. With the core values of Quality, Integrity, Ease and Experience at heart, our Sales Consultants understand the importance of what drives and motivates customers, maximising the customer experience through attention to detail, accuracy and working closely with the other areas of the business.



  • Going into the homes of Watson customers and providing advice for their window furnishing needs.
  • Providing quotations in the home.
  • Being polite, friendly and representing Watson core values, quality, integrity, ease and experience.
  • Responding to customer enquiries in a timely manner
  • Owning the sale from start to finish
  • Building relationships with customers and converting leads
  • Proactively promote the Watson Group brand and all products within
  • Maintain accurate and up to date customer information
  • Develop and maintain a positive working relationship with all internal staff that will enhance the customer experience
  • Maintain and enhance a positive work culture
  • Other duties as directed


  • Hold a full or P driver’s licence
  • Have a positive attitude, strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships you will be working very closely with other areas of the business as well as external customers
  • Are hardworking and reliable with a strong work ethic
  • Are punctual and organised with an eye for detail
  • Are able to problem solve on the go, but escalate issues if necessary
  • Support our strategic priorities and uphold the values of Quality, Integrity, Ease and Experience
  • Have full work rights in Australia
