Job Title: Warehouse Supervisor

Reporting to: Production Manager

Direct Reports (if appropriate): Warehouse & Dispatch Assistant

Key Relationships: Production Team, Head of Operations, Installation Team Leaders, Commercial Project Manager

Location: Hume, ACT 

 

Purpose

The Warehouse Supervisor supports our Production team by ensuring a smooth workflow between the receipt, processing, administration and reporting on our materials and products throughout our factory and storage areas. This includes communicating with our Installation teams regarding the status of products and parts awaiting installation or servicing and facilitated by the effective daily maintenance of our CRM database.

 

Responsibilities

  • Receive deliveries from suppliers, receipt the deliveries in our product tracking software/CRM and ensure the right products are placed in the appropriate location in the factory and warehouse
  • Moving and keeping bulk stock in a tidy and accessible manner, maintaining stock counts and updating Inventory Management Software (IMS)  
  • Relocating stock from warehouse to factories as per requests from production manager through our IMS
  • Packaging, labelling and sending stock to suppliers and customers in a professional and timely manner
  • Keeping all factories and warehouse clean and tidy at all times
  • Report back to management with any issues and or suggestions for improvements

 

Requirements

  • You have experience in a Project Administration role or similar, which has given you an understanding of project management principles.
  • You have an eye for detail and can demonstrate that you can follow instructions and complete tasks in accordance with deadlines.
  • You have worked with flow-charts and scheduling previously, which has given you strong organisational and time management skills.
  • You are proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, or equivalent, and are willing to learn new systems.
  • Your values will be aligned with ours – Quality, Integrity, Ease, Experience.
  • You are great in a team, are clear and professional with customers and are collaborative with other business areas.
  • Whilst a Construction Induction Safety Certificate (White Card) would be advantageous, we will support you to gain this. Australian Citizenship and Security Clearance may be needed for some of our Commercial projects.
